Vlerick Business School

Being an academic business school, we teach and conduct research in numerous management domains, also targeted to the healthcare sector.

Given the economic and societal importance of the health sector Vlerick has launched the Healthcare Management Centre. Vlerick HMC will have an international focus on research and executive education in health management. Belgium being acknowledged as a leading European country in healthcare provision, biopharmaceuticals and nanotech and having the most clinical research studies per capita in the world the Centre has access to a world class health & life sciences ecosystem for its research.

Activities

Vlerick HMC conducts practice-based research in three highly interconnected health management fields; (1) management and financing of healthcare providers, (2) life sciences business model innovation investigating how to increase clinical trials efficiency and the effect of disruptive technologies on the healthcare system, and (3) growth models for biotech and medtech companies.

Products and services
