Inclusive ICT

PhoenixKM BVBA is a consultancy that focuses on the integration of people with disabilities into society, and this via an optimal usage of ICT applications (desktop, internet, smartphone). PhoenixKM organises projects around this topic in cooperation with European partners (end users, universities, SMEs) en undertakes these projects with own means or with support from the European Commission.

Activities

- analysing user needs (peopel with disabilities, older people) via surveys, user forums, direct contacts

- functional analysis applications for the internet, as well as mobile and desktop applications

- organising of pilots, testing and evaluation with end-users in Flanders, but also abroad (especially Bulgaria, UK, Greece, Turkey)

- creating of consortium and project proposal

- coordination European projects

- project and financial coordination support

- consultancy services regarding accessibility, accessible document production, inclusive gaming, etc.

- development and training / courses regarding inclusive employment, ICT for starters

- support to organisations in obtaining EC subsidies in the field of inclusion (in a broad sense)
